Book Launch – Amsterdam, 16 December 2016

On 16 December 2016, the long-awaited presentation of Foregone Conclusion and its Dutch edition Bij Voorbaat Veroordeeld took place at Brasserie De Houten Vier in Amsterdam, before an international audience from the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Spain and Norway. Lawyers, an ex-police officer and other guests of honour spoke about the case and the fatal mistakes made by two European justice systems. The special guest of the evening was renowned crime journalist Peter R. de Vries, who wrote the foreword to the book and dedicated two television documentaries and a Telegraaf article (“Een nachtmerrie en geen excuses”) to the case. In an unforgettable moment, Kenneth Ehigiene handed the first copies of both books to Peter R. de Vries amid great applause.
