In December 2002, Kenneth Koseyem Ehigiene was arrested for the crimes of a man who had stolen his identity. Imprisoned in Amsterdam’s Bijlmerbajes while Dutch and German authorities pursued a case against the wrong man, he fought for more than seven months to prove he was who he said he was.
